For us the award of ‘Best Light or Medium Duty Truck’ capped off a successful 2017 Brisbane Truck Show.
Showcasing the ongoing refinement of our brand and the continued evolution of our business with our range of Hino products.
Through a cinema-style sound proof alcove, our customers could learn more about Hino Advantage including our dedicated customer care centre, Hino Genuine parts and accessories, factory-trained service technicians, roadside assistance, Hino Traq telematics, fleet training, fixed price servicing and Hino Financial Services.
Showcasing an array of Hino products from our best-selling diesel-electric light duty commercial vehicle in Australia, the Hino 300 series Hybrid. Our 300 Series 616 IFS Tipper supporting our ‘Built To Go’ range. 700 Series SH2045 representing our heavy-duty range, displayed with the Hino Sports Deck trailer. Three of our 50 plus variations of the new 500 Series Wide Cab, with the FG1628 displaying parts and accessories, as well as our new 300 Series 4x4 prototype.
At this premier event, with a game changing move, the all-new Hino 500 Series Wide Cab won its first ever award, one judged by a panel of leading trucking journalists.
With one judge declaring the Hino “a comprehensive update that brings impressive safety features to the medium-duty market, along with greater comfort and impressive workhorse credentials.”
“We are delighted and honoured to be recognised as the Best Light/Medium Duty Truck at the country’s premier truck show. Boasting the most comprehensive active safety package of any Japanese truck in the medium duty truck category, including Vehicle Stability Control as standard – an Australian first for this class of Japanese built trucks.” Steve Lotter, Chairman and CEO of Hino Motor Sales Australia.
Judging criteria included technical innovation, safety and customer support measures such as the delivery time, distribution network and value for money
Introducing our new Hino 300 Series 4x4 prototype for the first time in the world, developed specifically for the Australian market was just part of our continuing progression to support our customers’ needs, and we were ecstatic to share this reveal with our Australian Hino Facebook fans who have helped support our rapidly growing achievement as Facebook’s 3rd ranking social media community within the Australian Trucking Industry.
However, even with today’s technological advancements we managed to have a minor wi-fi issue at the event, so please head to our Hino Australia Facebook page to see the reveal finale.
In addition to the traditional ‘reveal’ of the prototype, key trucking industry journalists also experienced never-before-seen footage of the prototype truck in action using 360-degree footage and Virtual Reality goggles.
At Hino Australia, we are not only a truck distributor, we are driven to do more for our customers. We strive to continue to succeed as a trust worthy brand that delivers to our customers’ needs.
The delay in sending this post event wrap up is due to a delay in receiving event report attendance.
