Hino 300 Series factory tipper is Centenary's choice for compact workhorse
Queensland landscaping company Centenary Landscaping Supplies has taken delivery of its very first Hino trucks, a pair of 300 Series 616 IFS tippers.

A Queensland landscaping company has taken delivery of its very first Hino trucks, a pair of 300 Series 616 IFS tippers.

Based in Darra, 14 kilometres south-west of Brisbane, Centenary Landscape Supplies transports landscape and gardening materials to customers around the greater south-east Queensland area.

The usual payload of these tippers includes loose substrates such as soil and bark, pavers and bulk-bagged sand and cements.

Centenary Landscape Supplies' CEO Conor O'Shea says the trucks have surpassed his expectations of a light-duty factory tipper.

"The tippers are comfortable, well-powered and well-appointed. We've been so impressed that we are happy to see what Hino has to offer when the time comes to replace the other trucks in our fleet," Mr O'Shea said.

"We looked for a truck that was less than two metres wide, yet had a capable GVM and payload rating. I'm pleased to say the Hino 616 tipper ticked these boxes.

"Up to 70 per cent of our orders can be actioned by these trucks - a great testament to the Hino Built To Go offering," he said.

The 300 Series 616 IFS features a 150hp four-cylinder turbo diesel engine with 420Nm of torque. The 616 IFS is able to be rated with a 4,495 kilogram GVM or an optional 5,500 kilogram GCM.

The 300 Series 616 IFS Tipper also boasts class-leading safety features with anti-lock braking system, vehicle stability control and a standard reverse camera.

Purchased from Sci-Fleet Hino, Centenary Landscape Supplies has the assurance of Hino Advantage to support its business investment.

Hino Advantage delivers a range of innovative business building benefits covering areas such as capped price servicing, financial services, roadside assistance, fleet training, dedicated customer care team and access to Hino genuine parts and accessories.

"The team at Sci-Fleet were very helpful, even with all my odd questions. I can't fault their service," Mr O'Shea said.

Family owned and operated, Centenary Landscape Supplies has serviced south-east Queensland for over thirty years and employs more than 50 people.
