VEHICLE DELAYS AND AVAILABILITY
Hino is experiencing longer-than-usual wait times for delivery of new trucks to the Australian market due to a range of factors that have impacted global supply chains over the last few years. Although this has eased over the last few months, we are currently facing significant shipping delays due to congestion at ports here in Australia and Japan.
Seasonal quarantine requirements in Australia are causing a slow-down in shipping movements across the Eastern Seaboard. This has seen ship arrival dates become unpredictable and seen delays of several weeks or longer.
Individual wait times will vary, and we will continue to work closely with our dealers to reduce these times where possible.
Providing updated information to our customers is a key priority and we thank them for their continued patience and understanding in this matter.
Customers with questions about the status of their order are asked to please contact their preferred Hino Dealer.
